WASPs—white, Anglo-Saxon Protestants—are our most important minority group, but that wasn’t always the case.

At one time, WASPs buzzed around the landscape like menacing insects, founding colleges, creating mixed drinks, dictating matters of taste and generally setting the tone for American society. At the peak of their power they were a force to reckon with, as soon as you cleaned up the dishes and they gave you carfare home.

Today, WASPs are part of the mainstream of American society—and they don’t like it a bit--as their sons and daughters join the ranks of the downwardly mobile, taking jobs as caterers, festooning their bodies with tattoos that would impress a carnival worker and making obscene videos of themselves that will circulate on the internet for generations to come.

So let us honor America’s founding relatives—the WASPs.

Sally and Waspy have been friends since shortly after birth, and are born into a world of wonder. They succumb to their natural sense of curiosity and set out on a path that will lead them to unimaginable adventure. Their disobedience regarding clan rules places them in a position to be captured by kind mentors, who engage them in a life of trial and suspense. They are caught up in a drama of intrigue, deception, sorrow, attempted assassination, and battle, which forces them to grow up in a hurry. They are able to rescue orphan children who have been severely treated by their clan and become heroes to all. Sally and Waspy are cute, resourceful, and mischievous, and will cause the reader to embrace them, as well as laugh and cry at some of their exploits.

As Book One ended, so begins this new adventure, which finds Sally and Waspy on an intergalactic odyssey more strange and bizarre than anything they could have dreamed of. This epic journey takes them first to a curious planet called Earth and deposits them, as well as their friends and mentors, in a mountainous region locally known as North Carolina. They befriend an older couple, then find themselves embroiled in a revolutionary effort by disgruntled citizens. They are then captured by agents of the government and confined to a prison, where they manage to escape and aide those seeking a change of world administrative authority. Once that is resolved, they set a course for Prantoria to establish rules of conduct and deliver for trial the planners and perpetrators of the attack on their home world. This leads to revelations yet imagined.…
